I chose Emotive Portraits because this selfportrait shows myself sort of in the way I feel right now... Everywhere I see, I see light and happiness, but find myself standing in the dark...

I'm very unfamiliar with the portrait "genre", so I would really love some comments of how it turned out. As you'd might notice, looking at my other work, I'm more of a postcard-kinda guy... :)

i think the highlight is a bit bright on the eyes but other than that this is a great shot!

I actually really like the lighting. It draws the attention straight to where it needs to be, without over-powering the entire piece. I think it's very well done and the exposure looks good considering you have a whole scale of grays there.
